Membership &
Studio Space

While the Hand Weavers Guild is open to the public, becoming a member unlocks benefits such as access to our library, workshops, equipment checkouts – and more!

Our studio hosts an assortment of floor, table, and frame looms, as well as yarn and fiber.

Classes &
Workshops

Want to learn to weave your own textiles or handspin your own yarn?

We offer both a Beginning Weaving Class and a Beginning Spinning Class. No experience necessary!

Events &
Demonstrations

Our members frequently volunteer demonstrations of our craft for various events and groups in Lincoln, Nebraska and beyond.

We have been a part of Homestead Days at the Homestead National Historical Park, as well as Living History at the Arbor Lodge State Historical Park.

You don’t need to be a historical society to request a demonstration, however. Reach out to us with your ideas, and we’ll see what we can do for you!

Donations & Sales

Occasionally, the Guild will make items and equipment available for purchase.

The Hand Weavers Guild of Lincoln welcomes and appreciates those who would like to support our mission with a donation. Your donation enables us to offer more classes and workshops to our community.

If you would like to donate physical items, such as weaving or spinning equipment, please contact us by phone or email.
