The Hand Weavers Guild of Lincoln has been keeping the traditional fiber arts of weaving and spinning alive in Lincoln, Nebraska for several generations, through hands-on classes, from beginning to advanced levels.

Classes and Workshops
Whether you are a beginning or an experienced weaver, HWGL offers weaving and spinning classes and workshops several times a year. Additionally, informative programs are presented after many of our meetings held on the second Saturday of the month.
A Supportive, Inspirational Artistic Community
We welcome anyone interested in the art of handweaving, spinning, basket weaving, dyeing, felting, and more. All members are volunteers who enjoy the sharing of ideas and improving our skills through continually learning from others.
The Studio is usually open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, depending on members’ schedules. It’s good to call ahead, 402.486.1422, to be sure someone is there.
